Alexis was inspired to become a massage therapist because she wanted to help people understand their muscles; how everyday things, little or big, have a cause and effect on one's body. She has a strong foundation of Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Neuromuscular Massage Therapy (NMT) techniques after graduating from NHITA in 2015.

Neuromuscular Massage Therapy (NMT) is a form of focused soft tissue pressure massage that aims to alleviate chronic muscle and nervous system problems. It is mainly used to fix trigger points, circulation, nerve compression, postural problems and repetitive movement injuries. The aim of a neuromuscular massage is to go straight to the source of your pain and alleviate it. NMT does not have to hurt to be helpful.
