What To Expect

Making an appointment:

  • Same day appointments are not guaranteed to be available, it is recommended to book ahead of time. This can be done by phone call, text, or online. Booking online requires a minimum of 24hr advance notice, however, to receive the best time and day that fits your schedule please inquire at least 5-7 days in advance or book your next appointment at time of check out.

  • Appointment Time means this is this is the time your massage is scheduled to begin. Be sure to come a few minuets early to use the bathroom and get settled.

  • Please look at the Services & Pricing page to help determine how long of a massage to book.

First Visit:

If you have not been to Motion Massage before please arrive at least 10min early to fill out paperwork to indicate any medical history, allergies or injuries the therapist should be aware of. The therapist will also go over your paperwork with you to discuss how to best tailor your massage to any areas of concern.

Massage Experience:

Your therapist will step out of the room for a moment allowing you time to undress to your comfort level and lay on the table under the sheet and blanket. During the massage please communicate with the therapist on pressure, technique and comfort level so she may adjust accordingly. This is your time, if you wish to ask questions, fall asleep, or chat, do as much, or as little as you would like to.

Just remember this is YOUR session and massage is all about COMFORT so communication with your therapist during the massage is very important, do not wait until the end.

Cancelation Policy:

Requires 48hr advance notice or you may be charged a percentage of services booked. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment.


Late Arrivals:

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a massage. You will still be responsible for the full original booked session amount.


Payment:

Motion Massage accepts all major credit cards, Venmo, and cash as payment. If using cash please be sure to bring exact change.
